Our clubs focus on improving social and financial empowerment. Young people can only become empowered and have the capacity to end the cycle of poverty once they are made aware of their rights and responsibilities and given a set of financial tools to actualize those rights. The program makes sure that social and financial education is integrated into both formal and informal education, and is no longer only the family’s duty. 14 to 19-year-olds are supported by the program both within and outside of the classroom. It makes use of techniques that put children and young people at the center of the learning process and is created with children in mind.
Our cirriculum covers the following sections; Personal Understanding, My body, My choices, Rights & responsibilities, Saving & Spending, Planning & Budgeting, Social & Financial Enterprise.
